I'm having a little bir of trouble getting a dos4gw program up and running
(UFO: Enemy Unknown.).

All is as per dosemu-1.0.1 RPM except for these mods to the conf file..

$_xms = ( 2048 )
$_ems = ( 2048 )
$_ems_frame = ( 0xe000 )
$_dpmi = ( 2048 )

I've tried a fair bit of random number changing here, with the only other
result being a few out of memory messages.

When running the program I get ...

DPMI: calling real mode interrupt 0x66, ax=0x069e
SIGILL while in vm86()
ERROR: LOCK prefix not permitted!
SIGILL while in vm86()
ERROR: LOCK prefix not permitted!
SIGILL while in vm86()
ERROR: LOCK prefix not permitted!
SIGILL while in vm86()
ERROR: unexpected CPU exception 0x06 errorcode: 0x00000000 while in vm86
(DOS)

I've tried from the console and from X, with all security off, have
checked for any vpci/pharlap/win32s string in the binary but can't find a
thing and turned sound off completly.

I have to be missing something simple here.. Does anyone have any clues on
what could be causing this ? Or failing that some info on how to debug
further..

Ta..
