Yeah.  I just like to hack.  ha ha.. sorry.. punchy humor.

The reason is that our "chassis" is usually behind firewalls.  And so
our customers use the RFC 1918 nets.  I know, stupid.. but I can't be
guaranteed that any network address range won't be used.  

I think I have a start on it thou...  At least I have a plan.
