Hello everyone, I am having a problem using PCMCIA card controller with linux SuSE 5.3 and kernel 2.0.36. I recompiled my kernel and enabled the PCMCIA support, and compiled the modules for the 2.0.36 kernel. The modules are OK but when I try to start the PCMCIA service, Linux gives me a high beep and immediatly and low pitch beep. I read the howto and he gave me the error message that I see : 'Anonymous memory' Bind to socket 0 failed. But the problem is that when I ran 2.0.35 with the same configuration file (/etc/pcmcia/config.opts), it worked perfectly, so taht the memory range scanned is OK to this hardware.
