Configuring sendmail....

Howdy ,

This is my firs shot at configuring sendmail on a RH5.0 box I looked at
the HOWTO but I'm still at a lost ...I'm not getting something. Apart form
starting the sendmail service on booting up , I haven't done anything else
as yet , am I on the right path? (wrong question) Does everything comes in
place with RH5.0?
