Here's the situation -- I have a local 10BaseT ethernet LAN with three machines (one Pentium and two 486 IBM PS/2 /MCA bus machines), all connected in RJ-45 to a hub; according to the card tests, all links seems ok, but when I try to run the initiate/respond tests included with the ethernet cards floppys it doesn't work at all, the cards' Tx leds indicate a transfer, but the hub leds don't do anything. I re-checked all cable connections, everything seems to be fine.
