I also had problems compiling and did the following (don't know for sure if they are right though, but it does compile now): in pppd/sys-linux.c and pppstats/pppstats.c add the line #include <asm/types.h> after the line #include <linux/types.h> Worked for me. Good luck, Jason P Schanuel PS I don't remember if I did the make kernel step. -----Original Message----- From: CyberPsychotic <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Catalin BOIE <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wednesday, December 16, 1998 11:22 AM Subject: Re: Again PPP2.3.5 and 2.1.x : :I had the similar problem, when I followed ALL the directions in PPP. :seems that the ppp headers it installs, are not quite compatible with :lattest kernels.
