Dialing out a linux system via PPPD

Hello Everyone,
I have been trying to dial out my linux system to my Internet Service
Provider using PPPD and DIALD several times but I couldn't do it. 
I would be glad if anyone of you can tell me how do I dial out my linux
system using PPPD or DIALD and if possible give me any scripts required.
