Hi, I have a set of four linux (debian) machines in my house on a small private (10.3.0.0) network that I am using as a household network & general purpose clustering experiment. There are two things I am having trouble with: Read/Write access over nfs via NIS maintained automounter maps rsh/rexec capability for root acorss the network. I am completely aware that this is a complete and utter security nightmare, but as I previously stated, this is a private non-internet connected network. I am using the shadow password suite, kernel 2.0.34, and the autofs, nis, and nfs services are all via the debian Hamm distribution (on all four machines). Thanks in advance for any assistance you may provide. -- Y2K: its not just for breakfast anymore. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
