Hello here is my first 2.2.0 bug report:
i switched our Amanda backup server to 2.2.0pre5 and found
today that all backups from machines running kernel 2.1.113,
2.1.131SMP or 2.2.0pre5 were crawling at 1 to 20 kByte/s.
Backups from Linux 2.0 or Solaris run at the usual speed.
Trying with tcpspray it seems that tcp connections between two
2.2.0pre7 machines can go into a slow mode. I can reproduce it with
tcpspray running simultaneously and a short overload (caused
by e.g. ping -f -c 500 -s 512).
This makes Linux 2.2.0 unusable for backup server :-(
