Hello,
I'm not yet registered in this mailing list.
I am studying in some papers about distributed algorithms about
routing IP and I was told that the classic RIP implementation
described in RFC 1058 is not actually used in the wide internet
because such algorithm (implemented in routed daemon) supports DYNAMIC
routing that is too heavy for WAN because of communication costs. My
question is :
"Is it true?"
and so if it is , "what is used in WAN?".
Could somebody give me a reeference to any paper?
Thank you very much!
 Ben.
PS: I'm a french student, so please excuse me for eventually
grammatical mistakes ! ;-)
