There's a lot more to it than that. You also have to make sure all your
login-style binaries also support standard and not shadow passwords.
Things like login, rlogind, telnetd, ftp,popd and almost anything else
that verifies passwords via /etc/{shadow/passwd}.
Usually its a quite right pain to go from one to another.
