No idea. Last time I looked Linux could handle 3 server directives just
fine. Launch tcpdump before doing a nslookup and see if Linux's resolver
sends the query to the 2nd (and to the third if it doesn't get an answer
promptly enough).

It's /etc/resolv.conf btw.
