Glenn,
If you are installing StarOffice 4.x on a libc 6.x Linux machine, then
it is impossible. Only StarOffice 5.x will work on a libc 6.x Linux
machine. In other words, StarOffice 4.x will only work on machines using
Red Hat 5.1 and less.
