Guys, if you want to make something talk ftp, go to the protocol
definition RFC-959 " FILE TRANSFER PROTOCOL (FTP)" and read that, instead
of trying to reverse engineer it from a piece of perl code.
It'll take far shorter time, you'll make fewer mistakes, AND you'll be
immune to perpetuating possible mistakes made by the implementers of
mirror.pl
