The inconvenients of a non-reverse situation would be that one would not
be able to connect to some IRC servers because they would not be able to
authenticate you. The new sendmail, 8.9.1 does some real legit checking on
both, forward and reverse looking up, so you would have problems with
that. Sendmail 8.8.8 does all right without any reverse look up. Some
sites, while you are buying things online, would not let you partake in
their secure sessions because they can't authenticate...etc...
