I'm just getting started at setting up a small network at home with 1 Linux
box &
1 Win95 box - the Linux machine is, of course, the gateway with a 56K modem
for my ISP connection.

At least to start, I plan to use a packet filtering firewall with IP
Masquerading - but
I'm wondering how to set up the Linux machine to allow the Win95 client
machine to
access the Internet without manually starting a dial-up connection on the
Linux box.

Is the diald daemon the only way? Any other alternatives?

Thanks,
