Yeah g'day (c: I'm just looking into the minimum, and recommended, hardware requirements to setup a computer to use as a firewall/PPP server.. (well, that's what I think you'd call it (c; ...) What I have here is a P75.. 3 years old... and going to be surplus quite soon. I was thinking of installing Linux on a new computer, and the idea popped into my head, after reading emails from this list, about seeing if a P75 could handle such services as firewall, and handling PPP for my internet connections. I would of course have to network the 2, but that's another thread (c; So, simply, what hardware does one need to run a Linux firewall, to filter internet connections, and, what hardware does one need to run a Linux PPP system on a computer ? I hope you understand what I'm trying to do here... (c; DaganSg ([XXH<>()<>HXX])============================= "I've never had a humble opinion. If you've got an opinion, why be humble about it."
