I've been experiencing some strange problems with chat (i've recently
upgraded to ppp 2.3.6, and is runing on a 2.0.36 kernel).
There are several calls scheduled in the crontab. 4 calls to internet one
call to a cellular phone and one call to a remote pc runing procom.
Since the upgrade, there has been occurring some problmes when the
connection to internet ends not correctly. The redial script start to
report a strange error like
chat[nnnn]: Can't restore terminal parameters
I've been trying to reset the port but i have no success with it ...
After this problem is reported, no other call to the cellular or to the pc
can be performed. So, i have to shutdown -r the host ... :(
I would apreciate any help
