well, i've got the shaper going, and it does slow things down... but not
nearly as much as i thought it would. tried running it at 800kpbs, and it
ended up sending more like 1900 kpbs outbound, all http traffic. there's
about 400kpbs inbound requests. is there a shaper mailing list out there
right now, or would anyone be interested in starting one? i can throw
majordomo on my mailserver if there isn't one, 'coz i'm pretty interested
in finding ways to limit bandwidth. i'm going to try out cbq next...
