I remember seeing a message about Eudora being vulnerable to the same 
JavaScript problems as Internet Explorer, as it uses IE to show text/html
messages.

Encryption when sending the message isn't relevant for a discussion on the
possible problems of *receiving* mail with hostile JavaScript.

To get back to the original question, the only way to have your Linux box
block out mail with JavaScript would be to have it inspect all incoming
mail, wich means you have to set up your mail system to filter all mail
through a program, and you'll have to make that program yourself, or fork
out the $$/Beer/Adulation needed to get someone else to do it for you.

I'll have to point you to the sendmail documentation for further details.
