Hello Phillip,  when I try to compile 1.47 under
        2.0.30+alanc-14 ,  Selecting the defaults (as usual)
        the problem arises that ifru_ivalue is a 2.1.x kernel
        definition (so far, Alan?) .  I haven't tried it under
        2.1.x yet , but I don't expect troubles there .  Hth
