I'm using 2 3c590 nic controllers : eth0 for ip eth1 for raw ethernet (on another physical net segment) When I'm collecting packets from eth1 I receive packets sent to eth0 (on another physical segment !). Another strange phenomena I'm experiencing is that if I'm configuring eth1 with ifconfig eth1 up (no ip) the linux box can't even ping other machines (with the same netmask & broadcast as eth0).
