The interface structures are not available from user space.
There are two ways to find the relevant ppp daemon for a given port
1. You go through /proc/[pid]/fd/.. for each relevant process and
fstat them looking for the tty you want
2. You use the ppp scripts to log it. /etc/ppp/ip-up for example
