Does anyone know of a way to open a socket (or other api) which will give me packets addressed to any port on my machine but from a specific IP address? I have to write an app which will selectively route packets between a client and server on separate lans across a multihomed host. My client and server lans are separated by a firewall. The client and server communicate with via TCP, UDP and SNMP and they use a variety of ports. I would like this "router" app to know nothing about what protocols the client/server are using -- just their IP addresses.
