Hi all,

Let's say I have a machine (Q) with 2 ethernet adapters.
The first adapter is the default gateway and has ipnr x.
The second adapter has ipnr y.
Packages destined for x or y are not routed by Q.

>From a machine on the internet (ipnr z) I telnet to x.
Adapter 1 now receives packages with src z and dst x and sends back packages
with src x and dst z.
This works as it should.

>From a machine on the internet (ipnr z) I telnet to y.
Adapter 2 now receives packages with src z and dst y and adapter 1 (since it
is def gw) sends packages back with src x and dst y.
Off course this doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to get this to work (if possible)?

I'm using linux-2.2.3 & iproute2 tools.

Just curious,

Eric.
