Okay people, in my quest for knowledge I have come to another question I think will find itself at home in this list. I have a spare mainboard with processor and memory, and a 3c509 NIC, and an old SMC NIC which I havent been able to get working, but which has a nifty boot ROM. Is it possible to put the chip into the 3c509, and remote boot it ? with some other spare parts this might make a fun terminal.
