I belive it, when Alan Cox says a 4x100Mb/s-bridge
might be a tad too much for a pc, but I could live
with somwhat slower performance except for the
packetloss.
all tests i made are acceptable except the udp-stream
test where there is full-speed incoming traffic on
all interfaces, then (almost) nothing gets transmitted
anymore.
i wonder if this is really (cpu/pci)speed related or
if somehow the send-priority is too low (sorry, i don't
know much about the internals of the linux networkstack).
is it possible to raise the "sendpriority"?
