Check you have configured /etc/HOSTNAME. Also in /etc/sendmail.cf you
have to set up your hostname in:
Cwlocalhost
CwYourHostName
Restart sendmail and try this:
sendmail -d0.1 -bt < /dev/null
to see if it loaded right your hostname.
