Hi, all.
I'd like to cluster several network cards with the same IP address that isn't Class D
, mapping a multicast MAC address(ie, 01:00:5E:XX:XX:XX) to no multicast IP
address(203.X.X.X).
So, I need to control network cards in a diffent way to standard IPv4.
I was wondering if you guys out there had any idea of it.
I think I have to control MAC layer directly.
In case of Unixware, DLPI library provides the functionality.
Is there any programming interface to MAC layer in LINUX?
thanks.
