Howdy, Under Red Hat 5.2 (patched to use kernel 2.2.x), I was able to NFS mount my Linux machine (optimus) from my stock Solaris 2.6 machine (speedracer). >From /var/log/messages in Red Hat Linux 6.0 (2.2.5-15) May 10 15:59:26 optimus mountd[410]: authenticated mount request from speedracer:1011 May 10 15:59:26 optimus kernel: svc: unknown version (3) >From command line Solaris 2.6 bash# mount -F nfs optimus:/archive /mnt nfs mount: optimus: NFS service not responding nfs mount: retrying: /mnt Any help would be appreciated.
