Gateway Problem

Hello,

I want to configure my Linux system in order to use my Proxy for
Internet Connection. My proxy is on a separate network, I must configure
my gateway but when I do it, after rebboting I don't arrived to ping my
gateway ( error message : Network is unrechearble )

As anyone coould help me ?

Fictive Ip Adress :  My system 192.50.10.10
                            Gateway 192.50.254.254
                            Proxy 192.168.13.254
