Hello all. I have just purchased a Diamond Stealth 56K modem. I replaced the modem in my Linux box and ran my ppp-go script. The modem takes about 30 seconds to send the "OK" signal and then dials my ISP. The modem connects but does not return an IP address from the ISP. It hangs for a minute, and then hangs up. When I try and ping it returns "unknown host". I have the script succsessfully configured for my 33.6 modem, and everything works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions.
