i don't use pam but if you didn't change your "shell" and "login" line in
your
inetd.conf (and restart it) rdist will fail...
shell stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd in.rshd -h
login stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd in.rlogind -h
(you need the -h)
