I just setup a small Dragonlinux installation on my Win95 machine. When I
use ping I get an error like "don't know protocol icmp". What does this
mean? I have to load the module by hand, but then after I type "ifconfig
eth0 up" it seems to work fine.
I am going to use this machine as my FTP server for a laptop install. Will
this PING error keep me from seeing the network properly? What am I missing
here?
