Unhelpful :)

What you need to do is ask them "Why do I use DHCP?" this is because at St
Andrews uni were I am a student on the res ner there DHCP is used to make
life easier for the windows lusers who only have to choose "Obtain IP
automatically" and it works. I spoke to the head of student networking
back in the days when dhcp and linux was a big no no and asked him why
they used dhcp and was told this and that I could hard bind my ip if I
wanted as well as the ips were fixed. This year however this has changed
and I need to use dhcp but thats a different tale.
So yes you can but be aware that the ip could change at the discrection of
your ISP.

I think that you give it a none routable ip or a DNS server that you know
has nothing todo with your domain or the same ip as the primary one.

An ip is not marked as "This ip is DHCP" so yes, but as I said above be
aware that it can change.

You take the internet down :)

Not sure, it could well be that internic checks them soon after you
register, you would have to ask them that.
