Hi
I'm trying to set up IP-Forwarding on a Linux-machine placed between two
class-C-networks. In other words: I would like to hide a NT-client from
the rest of a LAN by a Linux Firewall.
I've chosen the kernel-options:
IP-Forwarding
firewalling
masquerading
I've set up ifconfig and route, so that
the following pings are successful:
>From the client to the private side of the firewall
from the client to the LAN-side of the firewall
from the firewall to the client
from the firewall to other servers in the LAN
What does not work, is a ping from the client to servers of the LAN.
How can I fix the problem?
