If you are still using a 2.0 kernel, you can go to the Computone
ftp site and download a driver. We are going to be releasing a driver
for the 2.2 kernels shortly. We are also going to be announcing a mailing
list sometime next week.
You can get 2.0 drivers from Computone at:
ftp://ftp.computone.com/PUB/Products/IntelliPortII/Linux/BETA
The files are in their ".dd" format, which is nothing more than
a tar file that they intended to be dd'ed over to a floppy. You can extract
straight from them. The drivers do not extract into their own directory.
You must cd to [...]/linux/drivers/char and then extract the appropriate
lip (Linux IntelliPort) file there. Then read the README.computone file
and follow the instructions.
We are hoping to have drivers in the kernel source tree before too
long. I'm currently working with Alan Cox on this.

Disclaimer: I do not work for Computone but I do maintain a page
about the Computone boards and I am working on getting the Computone drivers
integrated into the latest kernels. I'm doing this because I need them too.
My site and domain, WittsEnd.com is currently linked to the internet through
a Computone Intelliport II board running 4 ISDN links at 230,400 Baud on
the DTE (128K bonded channels on each port).
