I am running an ethernet pro 100 network card with a 2.2.5-15 kernel on a
400Mhz pentium with 128meg ram. When the network is first brought up, I can
ping a local router with < 10ms response times. After awhile, and I am not
sure how long, I start getting ping responses on upwards of 1000ms. I have
been forced to set the cron to restart the network daemon every hour to keep
things going.

Has anyone seen this before? Is there a cure?

Thanks
Chris
