Hi, I dunno if it's the right place to ask, but I'll give a try. I've been flooded/DoSed, don't know what really happen, on my ssh daemon. I wonder if there's something I forgot to put in my config files, or I'll have to setup a homemade firewall with ipfwadm/ipchains. Or maybe, there's a patch down there to fix my problem. I'm using ssh 1.2.X cause they don't support 2.X where I work. Thanks. --- Here's a tinny part of my logs : guard sshd[738]: log: Connection from 216.210.31.115 port 2127 guard sshd[738]: fatal: Did not receive ident string. guard sshd[776]: log: Connection from 216.210.28.144 port 1026 guard sshd[777]: log: Connection from 216.210.28.144 port 1027 guard sshd[778]: log: Connection from 216.210.28.144 port 1028 guard sshd[779]: log: Connection from 216.210.28.144 port 1029 guard sshd[780]: log: Connection from 216.210.28.144 port 1030 Here's the version of my sshd : sshd version 1.2.26 [i586-unknown-linux] Kernel : Linux guard 2.2.10 #2 SMP Tue Jun 15 21:13:46 EDT 1999 i586 unknown --- Luc Leblond mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
