I get this kind of error if I'm not running rpc.portmap (such as on a
slackware rescue disk). Try starting /sbin/rpc.portmap (could also be
in /usr/sbin or could just be called portmap.)
I don't use SuSE myself but I have I think that you have to tell it that
you want to use nfs in /etc/rc.config (or something like that)
