Im not absoultly sure about a pci card but all Ive used are zoom modems. I
have a 56k dualmode external
actually its a zoom modle 2948 they sell @ staples for about 80 + a serial
line. The external is is IMO the best 56k.
I also use a 56k internal xoom isa. Most zooms are jumperable ie (linux
compatible) do you need pci? Id suggest the xternal nice very fast modem and
it works with linux
if its a zoom and jumperable or external (serial) it'll work nicely with
linux
