Try installing any other OS there. Maybe that will put the partition into a state
that Linux fdisk understands.
If you have an identical disk, use "dd" and redirect output to the disk.
Do you care about the other partitions on the disk? If no, then delete THEM. Maybe
that will put the disk into a better state.
Buy a new disk.
(I know these aren't great suggestions.)
