Hi .. I have not read all the logs ...
What about this commands :
su - news -c "/usr/news/bin/inncheck -perms" 2> /dev/null
(don't beleave all the lies ...
/usr/news/bin/rnews:0: mode 4550, should be 2555
/usr/news/bin/inndstart:0: in group news, should be bin
/usr/news/bin/inndstart:0: mode 4755, should be 555
/usr/news/bin/makegroup:0: missing
/usr/news/bin/updatemods:0: missing )
su - news -c "/usr/news/bin/inncheck -v -a -pedantic" 2> /dev/null
su - news -c "/usr/news/bin/innstat | less"
is the output almost ok ?
Did You ever started inn as root ... so you are stoned! This usualy screws
up the approbiated access rights.
And last but not least : is your newsserver indeet accepting articles from
the host you try to post? in other words : is your site/host/server counted
in
nnrp.access
hosts.nntp
and is the password set right ? (usualy empty password)
passwd.nntp
