Depends on what you mean by "connect"
If you want to map a drive, you can do what people have already said with
Lan Manager & Samba, or you can get a free client like XFS (not the stuff
SGI just released) an old NFS freeware (shareware?) package for DOS. I
forget where I got it long ago, but I think that SuSE throws it on their CD
with a bunch of other dosutils.
If you just want telnet connectivity, there's a telnet client from NCSA you
can use. You may need to scrounge around to find the packet drivers for
your NIC, though.-- sounds like you still have those handy.
