I don't understand! Wouldn't telnetting to the ip address of the linux box
be satisfactory for you? You could download ssh which is secure shell!

Subject: Telnet - Linux

Hi

I have setup Linux RedHat 5.1 and got most things working, i.e Web
server, CGI scripts, Bind as (primary name server) etc.

I am fed up with walking over to the server to amend the CGI scripts on
my new web site.

So I want telnet access to my HTML and CGI files from my Win98 computer.

Please how to I go about this? A clue would be most appreciated.

Kind regards

Tony
