Hi all,
I have been runnig Slackware 3.2 in a pentium with scsi drive as a
server for 2 years. Since, Slackware was quite old and its recent version
is not available in India, Today i shifted to Rh 6.0. The box has compex
RL200 ISA card which has been running in slackware without any problem.
In RH6.0 I could get the card functional usind isapnp tools and ne
driver. When I installed RH, the machine was visible on internet and
intranet but after i came back from lunch i found that its not pinging any
other box but itself. I do not find any problem with ifconfig and route
outputs.
The box is pinging its local ip alised as eth0:0 as well internet
IP (164.100.242.130) but no other machine. I replaced UTP cable from other
box but with same results.
Can any one please guide or indicate the cause or error which
might have took place inebeet 2 hours.
