I am attempting to adjust my MTU for various reasons. I am using
kernel version 2.2.12. I get the following error message:
[root@amlai2 amlai]# /sbin/ifconfig eth0 mtu 1300
SIOCSIFMTU: Invalid argument
Does anyone know what would cause this error? Is there a kernel option
that I need to change? (BTW, I am using ifconfig 1.39 (net-tools
1.52). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
