Thanks, but I wasn't having a problem with getting it going in the
inetd.conf! I just didn't know where to get the program that does pop3!

Generally, this involves adding a line to /etc/inetd.conf as follows.
pop3 stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/popper -s
And restart inetd to re-read the conf file. -> man inetd, man inetd.conf.
You may also want to read the Networking-Overview-HOWTO, section 6.1, which
points to the Mail-HOWTO.
