Would appreciate a little help with the following. I have posted variations
of this request to several lower level bulletin boards with no responds and
situation is becoming desperate. I attempted the enlightenment bulletin board
but must have got on the wrong list and due to web site color schemes could
not see to resolve the conflict.
Simply put my eye site is such and the font sizes are such in enlightenment
that I can not fully read my screen.
More specific, I am running Gonome under enlightenment on RH6.1.
Due to screen size the only desk top that will fully fit the monitor is
1024x768. The 800x600 level generates a desk top that is 30% larger than the
screen. Attempts to adjust the screen size by Xconfiguator change the size of
the usable area of the screen not the size of the desktop. Thus in the
800x600 magnification one only sees 70% of the desktop for any settings
generated by Xconfiguator thus changing to 800x600 is not a useful option.
What I would like to do is increase the font size of the icons and other
enlightenment related text to a readable level.
I have succeeded in raising the level of the text generated by Gonome to such
a level.
Question: Is there anyone who could enlightenment me in this endeavor before
I go blind.
