ppp problem

I have a TP_link 33.6kbps modem, there is no jumper on its board. it is pnp,
now, I have tried my best to setup it, but it still can not work.

as soon as I start up the minicom, it will be died. 
so I use minicom -s to setup the main file. I have used all the ttyS0-3, but the 
minicom
still die.

so what should I do now?
